On The Menu Today

On the menu today:

Mexican Sushi


10 flour tortillas

1 pkg Cream Cheese

1 jar Green Olives, 1 cup chopped

1 can Black Olives, 1 cup chopped

1 Purple Onion, 1/4 cup chopped

1 pkg thin sliced ham, 1 cup finely chopped

1 jar Picante


Set cream cheese out to room temperature.

Dice up onion, olives and ham into a bowl.  Add softened cream cheese to mixture and mix well.  Refrigerate for 1 hour.


Lay out tortillas and using a spatula spoon on an even layer of the cream cheese mixture onto the tortilla then roll the tortilla up.  You can use a toothpick to hold it together temporarily.  Do this to all tortillas or until cream cheese mixture is gone.  Refrigerate one hour.


Slice tortilla rolls into bite size pieces, similar in size to traditional sushi.


Garnish with olives and picante sauce.
